School IP address Attention:

This IP address, 129.111.56.195, is registered to The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and may be shared by multiple users of an educational institution. In the case of institutions using proxy servers, this IP address may in fact represent many users at many physical computers.

For this reason a message intended for one person may be received by another. Similarly an innocent user may get blocked for another user's vandalism. If you are editing from this address and are frustrated by irrelevant messages, you can avoid them by creating an account for yourself. In some cases you may temporarily be unable to create an account due to efforts to fight vandalism, in which case please read our advice on this situation.

Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking - if a block is needed, administrators should consider a soft block with the template {{schoolblock|optional comment}} as the block reason.

Note: In the event of persistent vandalism, anonymous editing from this IP address may be disabled for up to 6 months at a time while abuse reports may be forwarded to your school administration for investigation in case of long-term abuse by registered users.
It is suspected that this user might be a sock puppet or impersonator of Zereshk.
Please refer to contributions for evidence. See block log.

Evidence:

  • Only contributions thusfar have been to label (rightly or wrongly) another username as a sockpuppet of Aucaman. Zereshk recently presented evidence against Aucaman before the arbitration committee.
  • This IP address propagates from the University of Texas, which Zereshk's userpage indicates that he attends.
  • One of these sockpuppet warnings was placed on Talk:Persian Jews. Zereshk is a significant presence on this talk page.Timothy Usher 01:55, 11 May 2006 (UTC)

Tim,

Please read the WP rules carefully. A sockpuppet is defined as an account holder. An IP address is not an account. Sometimes, I may forget to log in, like everyone else, when editing.--Zereshk 21:01, 11 May 2006 (UTC)

Did you also forget not to sign your comment "anon observer"[1]?

Nice try, though.Timothy Usher 22:26, 11 May 2006 (UTC)

  1. Nope. This particular user, whoever it was, was not me. Therefore please retract your slander against me. Even though I may edit anonymously at times as I stated above, but this one was not me, even though it may have an IP address that I may have used. Check my record. I have used at least 50 different IP addresses from various U Texas campuses (Austin, San Antonio, Medical Center,...). You have no evidence to back yourself up here that this user was me. This IP address is a public terminal of the University of Texas. It is used by thousands of users every day.
  2. That Aucaman used a sockpuppet is proven, and his sockpuppet has been confirmed.
  3. I dont need to use a sockpuppet to tell everyone that Aucaman is using a sockpuppet, because posting that message as "Zereshk" would in fact be to my benefit. It would help my position against you if I had posted the message as "Zereshk" instead of anon, as you claim, because you, Tim, have been an ally and backer of Aucaman.--Zereshk 22:17, 12 May 2006 (UTC)

Please refer to Wikipedia:Requests for CheckUser to sort this out guys. Cheers -- Szvest 21:00, 24 May 2006 (UTC) Wiki me up™
