125th Street is a station on the IRT Lenox Avenue Line of the New York City Subway. Located at the intersection of 125th Street and Lenox Avenue in Harlem, it is served by the 2 train (all times), and by the 3 train (all times except late nights).
The fare control is at platform level, and there is no crossover or crossunder between the two wall platforms. The station has a new name tablet plus some old "125" terra cotta cartouches. The tracks, trackways, and platforms at this station were totally rebuilt during a reconstruction project to combat a water seepage problem along the Lenox Avenue Line.
