106817 Yubangtaek is an asteroid. It was discovered by Young-Beom Jeon and Byung-Chol Lee on December 6, 2000. Its provisional name was 2000 XC44. It was named after Yu, Bangtaek, a 13th-century Korean Joseon Dynasty astronomer, co-author of the stone star chart Cheonsangyeolchabunyajido.
