Why backwards, thats the US in that picture. I like the NASA one better, although I have to admit, pretty neat picture either way. M jurrens 14:17, 2 August 2006 (UTC)

I created the image. The planet Antichthon (translated "counter-Earth") is a corresponding sphere opposite Earth according to Pythagoras. This just what is displayed -- counter-earth. I.e. it is reversed. The concept was a central theme in the movie Journey to the Far Side of the Sun. The duplication of matter of both planets but one reversed to the other. On the other planet, the arangement of the continents are reversed to ours and the sun rises in what we would consider to be the west and set in the east. The name Antichthon is among the most noteworthy sci-fi names for the planet. I primarily created the image for use in a coresponding userbox. Hope this helps. --Jason Palpatine 00:05, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
