The outdoor sculptures surrounding the Trammell Crow Center's upper-level (street level with Ross) grounds are made by Western artists and are not part of the Asian art collection. These pieces were installed either at the same time the building was erected or very quickly afterward, and thus predate the museum by a number of years. The only relevant work is one of a Chinese scholar/official (I believe it was labeled as Confucius early on, but has since been renamed) on the lower level of the building, in a fountain and backed by two columns, facing Flora St. - BW95 01:06, 25 March 2006 (UTC)
