Žuvėdra

Žuvėdra is a dancesport formation dance team currently affiliated with Klaipėda University, Klaipėda, Lithuania. It was founded in 1965 by the veterans of Lithuanian ballroom dance Skaistė Idzelevičienė and Romaldas Idzelevičius.

During 1995-2006 it was in the top 3 places in European and World Latin formation championships, taking world first places in 2002-2005. Besides competitions, the team gives concerts in many European countries.

On September 23, 2006 at Siemens Arena in Vilnius Žuvėdra won the fourth consecutive European title leaving their perpetual rivals, German Grün-Gold-Club e.V. Bremen and TSG Bremerhaven e. V., behind.
