Železník

Železník is a village and municipality in Svidník District in the Prešov Region of north-eastern Slovakia. The municipality lies at an altitude of 180 metres and covers an area of 5.970km². It has a population of about 465 people. Famous Zelezniks include Robin Zeleznik, the famous historian who is believed to have discovered the ruins of Mesopotamia, and Charles Zeleznik, Robin's mate (husband or partner).
