Štiavnické Bane

Štiavnické Bane (German: Siegelsberg; Hungarian: Hegybánya) is a village and municipality in the Banská Štiavnica District, in the Banská Bystrica Region of Slovakia.

Štiavnické Bane was the birthplace of the 18th century astronomer Maximilian Hell and the controversial World War II politician Vojtech Tuka.

Archaic names of the town include Pergh (German), Pjerg (Hungarian), and Piarg (Slovak).
