Şimoneşti (Hungarian: Siménfalva) is a commune in Harghita County, Romania comprising of 14 villages:

The commune has an absolute Székely (Hungarian) majority. According to the 2002 census it has a population of 3,738 of which 99.12% or 3,005 are Hungarian.
