Święty Krzyż TV Tower
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Święty Krzyż TV Tower ( Polish: RTCN Święty Krzyż ) is the tallest free-standing TV tower in Poland ( of course there are taller architectural structures in Poland, but these are guyed masts or highrise buildings and chimneys equipped with antennas). Święty Krzyż TV Tower, which was built in 1966, is a 157 metre tall concrete TV tower situated in the close vicinity of the famous monastery on Łysa Góra. Święty Krzyż TV Tower, which is not accessible for tourists, resembles by its hyberbolic shaped basement floors strongly to Ochsenkopf TV Tower in Germany.
