My name is Giuseppe, I'm 20 years old, an Italian citizen, born in Stuttgart and grown up in the city of Bietigheim-Bissingen, Germany. I have finished attending the grammar school in Bietigheim-Bissingen.

I thought that my passion for languages (see below) should be recognizable when reading my user name. That is why I've just chosen this name. Ĝù has been created as follows:

1. My nickname is Giu [ˈdʒu] or [ˈdʒuː].
2. In Italian, it's written Giù due to regulations concerning the proper pronunciation.
3. In Esperanto, the sound [dʒ] is written Ĝ/ĝ.
4. Now combine the letters in bold, and that's it.

• German and Italian are my mother tongues. However, I master German better than Italian.
• I've been studying English for nine years and
• French for seven years.
• I used to study Spanish for three years.
• I've been studying Esperanto on my own, e.g. with the help of the so-called Kurso de Esperanto.
