Čebovce

Čebovce (Hungarian: Csáb) is a village and municipality in the Veľký Krtíš District of the Banská Bystrica Region of southern Slovakia.

The village was first mentioned in 1240 (Chab). It belonged, during the History, to Zichy, Balassa and Somogyi noble families. From 1938 to 1944 it belonged to Hungary.

The municipality lies at an altitude of 225 metres and covers an area of 16.21km². It has a population of 1029 people.
