Östhammar Municipality is a Municipality in Uppsala County, in east central Sweden. The seat is in Östhammar with 4,000 inhabitants.

All towns with over 200 inhabitants in 2000, from Statistics Sweden.
Öregrund is notable for being one of Sweden's historical cities, being granted its charter in 1491. With 1,600 inhabitants currently the smallest in Sweden with that definition.
Another notable village is Forsmark (pop. 59), where the Forsmark Nuclear Power Plant is situated.
