From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Ösel(tib. hod-gsal), the Yoga of the Clear Light, offten traslated as 'Radiant Light' - referring to the intrinsic purity of the mind. A buddhism practice centered on the state of deep sleep without dreaming. It is thought that Ösel reveals the natural luminosity of emptiness. Ösel has a similar meaning to the Sanskrit phrase "Thou Art That" (Tat Tvam Asi) (Sanskrit: तत् त्वम् असि), which in simple terms could mean "You Are God" although there are various ways to interpet the term. Ösel is taught as one part of the six yogas of Naropa.
