Ómar Ragnarsson

Ómar Ragnarsson (born in 1940) was picked as man of the year in 2006 by Stöð 2 (Channel two) in Iceland in 2006 and by Rás 2 (Radio two, goverment run radio station) for his fight for Icelandic nature. He is the founder of the environmentalist party Iceland's Movement – Living Land and is likely to enter parliament in the 2007 parliamentary election.
