Énergie NB Power

Énergie NB Power is a power generating company in New Brunswick, Canada.

Énergie NB Power has 14 hydro, coal, oil, diesel and Orimulsion, powered stations across the province. The network has net capacity of 3,313 MW (1,903 MW thermal, 884 MW hydro and 526 MW combustion turbine capacity)

The company's history dates back to 1884 with the formation of the Saint John Light and Power Company and later merged with Saint John Gas and Light in 1886. NB Power Company was formed in 1917. NB Power became a public utility in 1970 when NB Electric Power Commission purchased NB Power.

NB Power is based in Fredericton.
