École secondaire de l'Ile (English:De l'Ile Secondary School) is a public secondary school in Gatineau, Quebec. The school is located on Boulevard Saint-Redempteur at the corner of Boulevard Sacre-Coeur in the Hull sector near the downtown area. The school is run by the Commission Scolaire des Portages-de-l'Outaouais school board which operates mostly in the Hull sector of the city of Gatineau. It is located near several bike trails and the Robert Guertin Arena, home of the Gatineau Olympiques, of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League
The school is home, like the Polyvalente Le Carrefour to an international educational program for high-skilled students in which they acquire a wide-variety of skills, introduce them to the worldwide environment and culture and prepare them for superior studies including the possibility of an international bachelor's degree.
The school also offers a sports-study program called Programme Sport-Etudes similar to Polyvalente Nicolas-Gatineau in which a student can practice, during his or her formation, any individual or team sports at different levels. There are several advantages for students that are in this program.
Eva Avila: 2006's Canadian Idol winner graduated from l'Ecole secondaire De l'Ile a few years ago.
