The École Pour l'Informatique et les Techniques Avancées or EPITA (School for computer science and advanced technologies) is a French private engineering school, based in Le Kremlin-Bicetre at the south of Paris.

The school follows the French model for engineering schools (Grandes Ecoles), and starts with a preparation cycle of two years, mainly based on scientific knowledge acquisition (mathematics, physics and electronics) and also oriented on computer sciences, which makes its specificity compared to more generalistic schools. This is followed by a cycle of two years of engineering studies dealing mainly with computer sciences which eventually ends with a major of one year, based on 7 different subjects:

  • SRS: Systèmes, Réseaux et Sécurité
  • MTI: Multimédia et Technologies de l'Information
  • SCIA: Sciences Cognitives et Informatique Avancée
  • GISTR: Génie Informatique des Systèmes Temps Réel
  • SIGL: Systèmes d’Information et Génie Logiciel
  • TCOM: Télécoms
  • CSI: Calcul Scientifique et Image
