Ève Salvail is a Canadian supermodel born on April 7, 1973 in Matane, Quebec. She was one of the top fashion models of the 1990s and the first top model who shaved her head. She created a lot of interest with this avant-garde look among fashion designers. She still sports very short hair, although no longer shaved. She has a tattoo of a Chinese dragon on her scalp.

Salvail appeared as herself in the Robert Altman film Prêt-à-Porter. She also made an appearance in such films as The Fifth Element and Zoolander. She has appeared on the covers of several magazines including ELLE and Wired.

On the January 9, 2007 episode of the Tyra Banks Show titled "Coming Out Stories", Salvail is said to have come out of the closet.[1]

In more recent years, although she still works regularly as a fashion model, Eve Salvail has been deejaying and songwriting. For some time she was the lead singer in a band called Ten Watt Mary. She has also collaborated with artists such as Bryan Adams and David Zilbert.
