Água Boa is a city in the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais. In 2004 its population was estimated to be 18,834.

The city of Água Boa is located some 380 km from the state capital Belo Horizonte and the principal economic activiy is farming of various cereals being the most important corn , and also as a large producers of livestock where the soil is very favorable to creating free range cattle .
