¡Tierra y Libertad!

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

¡Tierra y Libertad! was a slogan used during the Mexican Revolution. It translates as: "Land and Liberty". The phrase was popularized by revolutionary hero Emiliano Zapata.

Protestors of Mexican descent or otherwise shout this when faced with injustice. This is similar to the cry "El pueblo unido jamás será vencido" in other parts of Latin America.
