(Blooper) Bunny
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
(Blooper) Bunny is a special cartoon released in 1991. It is 8 minutes long, and features the voice talents of Jeff Bergman and Gordon Hunt.
The cartoon begins with a special 51½ Anniversary celebration of Bugs Bunny.
After the celebration, we see what happened earlier that day. After a backstage look at Bugs, Daffy, Yosemite Sam, and Elmer Fudd (featuring 3D rendering of the scenery), they try the performance, resulting in a series of created "bloopers".
1. Bugs dances, but the music skips like a broken record. He says "Monotonous, ain't it?"
2. Bugs stops the music, since he noticed a loose floorboard on the ground.
3. Bugs tries to catch a cane, but cannot grab it.
4. Same as above, in which he mutters to himself.
5. Bugs waits for the cane...but Daffy refuses to throw it to him, resulting in the director agreeing to let someone else throw it.
6. Daffy comes on stage the exact same time Bugs does. He claims it's a new improvement on the set, and he bumps his head on the boom mike.
7. Bugs waits for Daffy to join him on the dance...but we hear Daffy flush the toilet. He rushes on stage, having the director yell "CUT!".
8. Bugs and Daffy complete their entries exactly only to Elmer's entrance where he fires a real gun instead of his prop variant to scare everyone. Bugs scolds him for using live ammunition on a movie set, his unspoken words being that people would get hurt. This causes Daffy to get in a one sided argument with Elmer that lasts a while while Bugs continues to call out "Cut!" However, Daffy continues with Elmer until he walks away and gets struck in the face by the loose board Bugs pointed out earlier. Before getting cut off by Bugs, Daffy says "You smug, son of a-", but the next take starts before he says the next word
9. Bugs catches his cane and Daffy comes out with the board still stuck to his face. When he pulls it off, he yanks his beak off with it and says "Small mishap" with a normal mouth. Bugs is shocked.
10. Everything is going perfect until Sam comes out of the cake with a frown. The director speaks with Sam to be more cheerful and Sam tries to. When he re-enters the cake, he says "But I hates rabbits."
11. Continues from before Sam pops out with his smile. The scene ends with an extra rocket on Sam's back which fires him around until he crashes into the camera and Bugs rushes to him. During the credits, Sam is yelling at Bugs calling him "flop-earred son of a kangaroo". Bugs wraps up by saying "Maybe we can fix that in editing."
