George Francis Newton (b. 29th April 1992) is the Editor-in-Chief of [['The Village News'[[, in Haughton Green, Denton, Macnhester (]]Lancashire]]). In 2006, he was nominated for Young Person of the Year. He has raised over £10000 for a charity called Willow Wood Hospice, in Ashton-under-Lyne through various fundraising events, from the age of 9 years old.
