Zuraidah Ibrahim

Zuraidah Ibrahim is the political editor of The Straits Times, a Singapore-based newspaper. Cherian George, a former journalist at the paper, is Zuraidah's husband according to the registry of marriages. Cherian is infamous for having written articles that were less than flattering of the government. Zuraidah's brother, Yaacob Ibrahim, is the Minister for Environment and Water Resources. Despite her close association with Cherian, she is currently still considered to be a trusted member of the establishment.
