[edit] Admin help requested.
While monitoring vandalism I came across this edit While I'm guessing the author is either joking or just a mildly depressed high school student I thought I should bring this to the attention of admin immediately--Zudduz 19:08, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
- I'm not an admin, but given that the user vandalized the article several times in the space of an hour (including vandalism after that edit), I'm not particularly concerned. I imagine it's just sick humor. Call me callous, but I also don't think that suicide notes include emoticon frowny faces. -- Merope Talk 20:17, 3 October 2006 (UTC)

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --Casper2k3 17:49, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks! I've been typing the templates instead of copying and pasting and forgot. thanks for the reminder. I've just started getting in the habit of adding the templates when reverting vandalism and haven't actually listed any users to be blocked yet. The process doesn't seem to be entirely documented. for example what one is supposed to type on Wikipedia:Administrator_intervention_against_vandalism and when should one use {{non-admin fwarn}}?Zudduz 17:59, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
