Zuckerbaby is an Alberta-based rock band who found success in the late 1990s. Their unique blend of hard rock and well-written melody helped spawn such hits as "Andromeda", "Heavy" and "Shampoo" from their debut, self-titled album.[1] Their sophomore CD "Platinum Again" was released in 2000 and two singles were released from it ; "Overexposure" and "Holiday". On their MySpace page one can presently (October 2006) read :
- "After a lengthy break, Zuckerbaby have found themselves, against all odds, ready to release a new album."

The name Zuckerbaby comes from a German art film, made in 1985, directed and written by Percy Adlon.[3] The film is also know as Sugarbaby.
