Zouar is a town in the Tibesti Department in the BET Region in northern Chad, in an oasis in the Tibesti Mountains. The town has an airport with an unpaved runaway.[1]

In Zouar was born in 1953 one of Chad's most prominent rebel leaders, the MDJT founder Youssouf Togoimi.[2]
