[edit] Zone defense in basketball: NBA references

As it now stands, the introduction to the basketball section has two references to the NBA's allowance of zone defenses (one at the beginning and one at the end). Since the focus of this article is about zone defense in basketball in general and not about specific rules of the NBA, I don't believe that anything more than a passing reference to this NBA rule change is warranted. Furthermore, I don't think that the reference should occur at the start of the basketball section. I am in favor of combining the two statement in a single sentence about NBA zone defense rules. I think that any elaboration about this rule change should be placed in the NBA article. Crosswalkcs 04:47, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

I respectfully disagree. Your position on this topic makes no sense. I'm going to flag this page. It's in need of an expert. Enough amatuer hour.Distipel 16:05, 29 September 2006 (UTC)
