[edit] Zoe's History
Zoe arrived on Emmerdale (then titled "Emmerdale Farm") in 1989 with her dad Frank, brother Chris and stepmother Kim. Zoe is schizophrenic and also a lesbian. She is an interesting character to whom many interesting things have happened and who has done many remarkable things. She has been kidnapped, tortured and raped and has committed arson and murder. She is the mother of Jean (named after Zoe's late mother) and is looking after her nephew Joseph following the death of her brother, Chris.
Zoe left Emmerdale on 22nd September 2005 when she got away with the attempt at murdering Scott Windsor who is Jean's dad. Scott threatened her with a gun but she got away with Jean and Joseph. Before she left she blew up Home Farm as a parting gift to the Kings (the family who had basically conned her so that she was forced to sell them the property), whom she hates.
In 2007, Leah will reprise her roll as Zoe Tate by returning to the village- married.
