Zmago Jelinčič (born on January 7, 1948, Maribor, Yugoslavia, now Slovenia) is a Slovenian politician. He is the current President of the Slovene National Party (Slovenian Slovenska Nacionalna Stranka, SNS). Mr. Jelinčič is a Slovenian nationalist, and is acting sharply against the Croatian involvement on Slovene territory, which Croatia claims as its own, but actually lies on disputed territory and is said to be historicly unredeemed territory of Slovenia. Despite popular beliefs, he declared to has nothing against minorities in Slovenia and is in contact with former Yugoslav states, with the exception of Croatia. He also helped to publish the book of "Psunjski" called "Hrvati v luči zgodovinske resnice" (Croats in light of historic truth) in which he reveals thieving and malitious nature of a Serbian tribe called Croatians, who turned against their brothers and were constantly faking history for their own gain. His political atitudes are somewhat left wing (which he reffered to himself in Mladina magazine) and populist. He is also a great admirer of Tito and even commemorated him by founding him a statue on his own garden and allows visitors to visit the statue and pay their respects anytime at 23rd of December (Slovene independance day) and 25th of May.
