Zim Wiki is single user text editor which offers document linking and formatting in the style of popular wikis. This text editor was built in perl and works in any platform that supports perl scripts. It allows the user to have and create wikis at her own desktop. Links are handled with simple hot keys and if they don't exist they are created instantly. There is a list of external links that can be increased with new aliases in an easy way.

This is a help file done with the same zim wiki. Notice: its use of outlining (left column), the order of the tags that appear as buttons on the upper part of the main help page and its use of images inside the text file, just as any other wiki.
