I agree that the player walkouts are very crucial in Zimbabwe's cricket history, but that doesn't mean the history of the team (such as a draw in their first Test series, Flower's performances as one of the highest averaging batsmen of the 1990s, ICC Trophy results, South African domestic results, and the gradual introduction of blacks into the side) shouldn't be included in a larger way than they do today. Also, the article lacks references, which a sentence such as this

Zimbabwe's early Test performances were consistently weak, leading to many suggestions that they were undeserving of that status. In the one-day arena, however, the team soon became competitive, if not particularly strong. In particular, world respect was gained for their fielding ability, considered second only to South Africa's.

quite obviously needs (it could be argued that not a single thing in there is verifiable fact, but presentation of opinion). I think the section on current and former notable players has to go, unless we can make some kind of universal benchmark of what is considered "notable", without making an opinion choice. If necessary, we could replace it with players who have been in more than 100 internationals, for example. It is a good starting point, however, since you've got the results and a good summary (even if lacking references) of the recent years. Sam Vimes 09:08, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
