Zhou Chuan-huing

Steve Chou Chuan-huing (Traditional Chinese: 周傳雄; pinyin Zhōu Chuánxióng) is a Taiwanese composer and singer. He started singing and composing in 1989 and has written a variety of well known Chinese songs sung by famous singers.

In 2000, he released his first album, Transfer. The song 黃昏 (Huanghun) was Zhou Chuan Xiong's breakthrough. In 2003, he released his second album, Dubbing, which consists of many famous songs he had written before and some new songs. The 2004 album Mixing was less warmly received. His latest album, Xing Kong Xia De Xiao Shuo (Under The Star), was released in 2005. Surprisingly, one of his lowly ranked song called 寂寞沙洲冷 (Jimo Shazhou Leng) became the hit song of his 2005 album.

He was also the winner of Malaysian Idol. At a Concert in Malaysia, he sang 黃昏 (Huanghun) 20 times after demands from the audience.
