Zhang Miao (张邈, 155 - 195) is a minister of the Three Kingdoms Period that acted as prefect of Chenliu. Zhang Miao led an army during the coalition against Dong Zhuo. In the coalition Zhang expressed displeasure at their leader, Yuan Shao, and Yuan Shao sent Cao Cao to kill him. Cao Cao refused, saying that it's best not to quarrel within friends during such turbulent times. It was known that Zhang Miao was a very close friend of Cao Cao, but later rebelled against him through the suggestion of Chen Gong. Miao then captured Yan through the help of Lu Bu, but was ultimately defeated.
