Zhang Dali

Zhang Dali (張大力; pinyin: Zhāng Dàlì) is a graffiti artist living in China today. After studying painting in China, he went to Italy, where he discovered graffiti art. He was the only graffiti artist in Beijing throughout the early 1990s, and is the first artist since Keith Haring and Jackson Pollock to be given the cover of Time magazine. Zhang Dali: Currently living in Beijing. Born in 1963, Harbin, Heilongjiang province. In 1987 he graduated from Central Acedemy of Art and Design in Beijing.
