In the Spring of 2000, nineteen men emerged from a candidate pool - which numbered in the hundreds - to become the UCF Colony of Beta Theta Pi Fraternity. These special brothers were considered the finest Central Florida had to offer in academics, athletics and principle, and would be initiated as the "Founding Father" class.

Five years later, the Colony is a fully chartered chapter in Beta's Broad Domain. In the spirit of great Betas of the past, the Zeta Psi Chapter has become the fastest growing and most active at UCF. One year after our start, we took home 17 of 23 Greek Awards and became a "Chapter of Excellence" and was one of only two chapters to take home the prestigious "Excellence in Programming" Award. In the Fall of 2006, we took our largest new member class of 33 and have seen our grades finish in the top half of the Greek Community in most of our semesters here at UCF. Our journey's major highlight came in the summer of 2001 as we secured an off-campus house to become the central home for our Chapter.

Today, our membership boasts roll numbers into one hundred and seventies and we are constantly growing and looking for more "Men of Principle" to join us for a fraternal experience that all can be proud of.

Now, with the guidance of our principles, the belief in our brotherhood and the bonds of Beta Theta Pi leading us, the sky is the limit for our elite group of men.
