Zeta Phi Rho

ΖΦΡ (Zeta Phi Rho, Inc.) (also ZOP, ZFR, Zetas) is a young fraternity with eight chapters in southern California. This fraternity focuses on developing a diverse group of brothers committed to its philosophy - commitment to character, leadership, academics, and the community.

Zeta Phi Rho, Inc. is a fraternity in which the members say that they are committed to developing members' academic, personal and leadership potential, and are ready to contribute to society and make a difference.
[edit] Philanthropy
Zeta Phi Rho, Inc. is a service-based fraternity. Within the last four years, Zeta Phi Rho has adopted Habitat for Humanity (HfH) as its All-Chapter Benefit Charity. Events hosted to benefit HfH include an All-Chapter Halloween Party (2004), Charity Poker Tournament (Beta Chapter, 2006), Talent Show (Irvine Chapter, 2006), & House Warming Party (Epsilon Chapter, 2006).

The founding members are known as the "Founding Fathers", and are: Christopher Arnaldo, Francis Baylen, Carlo Boiser, Joseph Braza, Butch Callanta, Ian Carbonell, Archie Cardenas, Vincent Delupio, Johnnie Garcia, Ronald Hipol, Alfred Perdito, Jan-Michael Roy, Carlos Sanchez, and Greg San Luis.
Zeta Phi Rho, Inc. was founded upon "the vision of building a secure bond amongst a team of individuals, working in harmony to provide a strong brotherhood".
The Alpha Chapter was established at California State University, Long Beach on August 10, 1995. Fourteen men devised the fraternity's "Cardinal Principles". These gentlemen are known as the "Founding Fathers".
The Beta Chapter was established at the University of California, Santa Barbara, on March 16, 1996, with seven members.
The Gamma Chapter was established at the University of Southern California on March 23, 1996, with eight members.
The Delta Chapter was established at Loyola Marymount University on November 24, 1996 with six members.
The Epsilon Chapter was established at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, on September 17, 2000, with nine members.
The Zeta Chapter was established at the University of California Irvine on January 11, 2002, with nine members.
The Eta Chapter was established at the University of California, Los Angeles, on February 22, 2004, with four members.
The Theta Chapter was established at the University of California, Riverside, in 2004, with eight members.
Since its creation, the fraternity has become the fastest growing fraternity in southern California.

The Beta Chapter (UCSB) is the first chapter of Zeta Phi Rho to have an official house. The original lease and contract was handled by Romeo Garcia (Gamma Class, Beta Chapter).
