Zero artistic movement

Zero Artistic Movement (ZAM) is an anti-art organization created in Lesbos, Greece in 1999 by the nihilist music group Pornostroika dadaifi. It was followed with various other musical groups in many cities like Athens, Heraklion, Mytilene, Chania, Rethymno, etc. The organization is a politically charged anti-commercial movement.

Politically, some members belong to the anarchist movement, some are communists, and others are nihilists. The main inspiration of the group is underground music and literature, as well as many other sources, including retro-futurism, Dada, Max Stirner, Edgar Allan Poe, Laibach’s NSK, industrial music, science fiction literature, Brecht and many more. The most recent releases from ZAM are Cities of the red night from Pornostroika dadaifi (Heraklion, 2006)and erimoi anthropoi from solitary people(athens,2006).
