Zered Bassett
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Zered Bassett (born February 6, 1984), or Dr. Z as he is nicknamed, is a professional skateboarder for Zoo York.
He was born and raised in Cape Cod, Massachusetts and currently resides in Manhattan, New York.
He won the Transworld Skateboarding Magazine 2005 Rookie Of The Year title. [1]
Although he rides regular stance, he also has the ability to skate switch-stance with near equal facility. He appears in the Zoo York videos City of Killers and Vicious Cycle. The latter is his own feature film (though each of the team's skaters has at least a small segment) and includes footage from the Skate Maps series as well as much that is original. Bassett's popularity stems from his inclusion of old tricks along with all the staples of modern skateboarding.
