Zelenokumsk

Zelenokumsk (Russian: Зеленоку́мск) is a town in Stavropol Krai, Russia. It is located at . Kuma River flows through the town. Population: 40,340 (2002 Census).
It was founded in 1762 as selo Vorontsovo-Alexandrovskoye. It was granted status of an work settlement in 1963 and renamed Sovetskoye. Town status granted in 1965, when it was renamed to Zelenokumsk.
