Zeir Anpin

Zeir Anpin from aramaic means "the miniature face", "small face" is a important term of Kabbalah, i.e. name of partzuf. It gets this name because is mainly the light of Chassadim and its minor part is light of Chochma. It is a partzuf of the midot, corresponding to the emotions. Configuration of the sefirot from chesed to yesod to form a six parted partzuf. In general, the concept of "finitude" or "finite power" is identified with it. Light of Chochma is called Panim, and therefore Keter is called Arich Anpin, which means large Panim, as it has Orh of Chochma.
