Zeba Bakhtiar

Zeba Bakhtiar, the daughter of the former attorney general of Pakistan, Yahya Bakhtiar, is from Baluchistan , Pakistan. Her mother is of foreign descent. Zeba Bakhtiar debuted in the Karachi television play ‘Anarkali’, and played the leading role. She made her big-screen debut in the Indian movie "Hina" in a leading role opposite Rishi Kapoor. After performing in a few films in india, she came back to Pakistan and played a leading role in Syed Noor's Sargam opposite Adnan Sami Khan. She married Adnan Sami Khan and had a son named Azan from him. After a long child custody battle, Zeba Bakhtiar succeeded in getting her son back. She played leading roles in various Pakistani films and dramas. Played leading role in Sangeeta's "Qaid" and Khalid Rauf's drama seriel "Laag". She made her directorial debut from the movie "Babu" in 2001. Her play "Masuri" which aired on PTV was a success on television, and was nominated for Lux Style Awards 2006. Recently she produced a drama in malaysia called "Muqaddas", and is also planning to do a film with director Rizwan Khan and his wife the scriptwriter Cyma Rizwan.
