Zavodoukovsk

Zavodoukovsk (Russian: Заводоуко́вск) is a town in Tyumen Oblast, Russia, located on the Bolshoy Uk River (an arm of the Tobol) some 96 km southeast of Tyumen. Population: 25,200 (2005 est.); 25,674 (2002 Census).
Zavodoukovsk was founded in 1729 as a village of Ukovskaya (Уко́вская). In 1787, it was renamed to Zavodoukovskoye (Заводоуко́вское). It was granted town status in 1960.
