[edit] Nicolsky (Никольский, St.Nicolas) cathedral in Zaraysk
This is the most old and the most remarkable of the Zaraysk churches. It was built in 1681. On the left side of the churches wall a brass memorial board is placed, which tells one about Dmitry Pozharsky who was once a voevode of Zaraysk.
The left side of a photo is occupied with a wall of another cathedral - the John the Baptist's cathedral.
On the background you can see the east wall of the citadel and its Naugol'naya (corner) tower.
The picture was made by user:Arseni and is free for use.
