Hey! Thanks for coming. It's nice to get to know people through a nice chess game. Makes for good conversation and allows us to get to know each other. If you want to be white, go ahead and make your move. If you'd like to be black, let me know, and I'll move. Normally people keep tables where they record their moves, but I don't see that as necessary, unless you'd like to. Moving itself is pretty self-explanatory. It's easier if your editing window has a fixed-width font, but I don't, and I can still use it by counting off the boxes. Just take the piece that you are going to move, replace it with two spaces (leave the lines to the side of it though!) and retype the text in where you desire to make your move, deleting the two spaces that previously occupied your intended square. How to download or how to upload? Downloading is putting pictures onto your computer from the internet, uploading is putting pictures from your computer onto the internet (or Wikipedia). I can help with either. -zappa.jake (talk) 18:01, 6 May 2006 (UTC)

Basically im trying to download and I cannot find the copyright/license tag, on this picture on this page http://www.potomacpanthers.org/about/default.htm dont do it for me just tell me how to find the copyright info. John R G 18:15, 6 May 2006 (UTC)

This might help you. Apparently, they don't want you to republish the information on the website. However, I would consider use on Wikipeida fair use. However, they seem very strict about it, so if you really want to put the picture up, I would email the webmaster and ask him for permission. Also, I wanted to remind you to use edit summaries. I would've done this on your talk page, but I figured we were talking here anyways, and it would be more private. Your contributions really are helping, but it's always nice to add an edit summary. They really are important to Wikipedia because they help people figure out what you did.
