Talk:Zanshin

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Zanshin also can be translated from the Japanese as "the mind with no remainder" or continuation. It implies a mental movement within the immediate. Specifically in the martial arts the mind, breathing, and movements are linked in each action. If zanshin is achieved there is no stop or start, there is action in proper accord with the immediate universe of things.

My understanding (based entirely on Google) is that the term zanshin is also sometimes used in Zen Buddhism, not just martial arts. E.g. http://www.wwzc.org/teisho/zanshin.htm. Maybe this could be added to the "See Also"?
