Zameer Sattaur is Imam of Masjid Al-Abidin in New York City, possibly one of the tri-state areas biggest mosques. He comes from Industry, Guyana. He left at a very early age to persue his studies. He studied at the Madinah Islamic University and King Saud University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He organized Sara International Travel in 1994, taking groups from the U.S, Canada and the Caribbean. He also owns Sara International Boutique on Liberty Avenue in Queens, NY. He is one of the most well-known Imams throughout the NYC region and abroad.
