[edit] Involvement in Tom Green Live
Wolk was one the earliest of Green's Deputies (a Tom Green fan dedicated to spreading awareness about TomGreen.com that also creates videos). Making over 30 videos early on in the deputy program solely focused on TomGreen.com - Brett Jenkins (field producer of The New Tom Green Show took notice of Zack's work and brought it to Tom's attention[2].
Wolk- wanting to suprize Tom by interviewing Jenkins was duped by both Tom and Jenkins when Brett "spilled the beans" to Tom about Zack's suprize. The term Blogjam was invented to define when two video blog participants are actively involved in each other's blogs. It has been taking place on the TomGreen.com deputy blog since with Tom's fans (known on the site as deputies) videotaping each other's entries and reacting to them in a continual blogjam[3] loop.
During the filming of the never aired HBO pilot, Jenkins and Green concocted a plan to reward Wolk with a trip up to Green's house which had just recently been lit for preproduction of Tom Green Live. Wolk was blindfolded and Green drove him up to his house while lipstick cams on the vanity mirrors captured the whole event for the HBO reality show.
Weeks later - and a week before Tom Green Live, Green was without a booker and made a call to his fanbase (the 'Gang' to try and book guests, the response was huge and Tom's management had Tom "pull back the troops" as many agents in Hollywood were being contacted more than 3 times. Needing assistance with booking high profile and unknown talent, Tom enlisted the help of Wolk - he has never been paid for his help.
Zack - having no formal experience booking talent for anything, proved to be a success and has booked on the show [4]Jamie Kennedy, Stu Stone, Jurassic 5, Steve-O, Andrew Dice Clay, Ed McMahon and others. He can also be seen on random episodes helping out on cameras, phones and directing.
