[edit] Welcome
Hello, Yzphub, and welcome to Wikipedia! I see you have been a member for several months but nobody has greeted you; I apologise for the belated greeting!
Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- Tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}}
on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome! -- FP (talk)(edits) 08:45, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Edit summaries
Another tip I would like to give is to always leave a descriptive edit summary. It is highly recommended that editors fill in the edit summary field, as it makes it easier for you and your fellow contributors to understand what has changed, and is helpful when going through the history of the page. Cheers! -- FP (talk)(edits) 08:51, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
