Yvonne Fritz

Yvonne Marie Fagnan Fritz (born: September 17, 1950 Saskatoon, Saskatchewan) is a politician and current cabinet minister in Alberta, Canada.
Prior to her career as a politician, Yvonne worked in the health care industry as an Occupational Health Nurse at Calgary General Hospital.

Yvonne was elected to Calgary Municipal Council in 1988, as an Alderman for Ward 5. She served until 1993 when she resigned her seat to run in the 1993 Alberta general election.

Yvonne was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta as a Progressive Conservative member for Calgary Cross in the 1993 Alberta general election. She is currently serving her 4th term in office. Yvonne is currently Minister of Seniors and Community Supports having been appointed to that position in 2004.
